Grayshott Pottery is proud to be supporting The Royal British Legion with two exclusive pottery pieces to commemorate the WW1 Centenary this year.
It was important to the team at Grayshott Pottery to help celebrate the work of the Royal British Legion. Commenting on the launch of the commemorative pieces, Managing Director, Glenn Myers said: “We’re proud to be supporting a great charity like The Royal British Legion. This is such an important cause and the work The Royal British Legion does to support current and ex service personnel is beyond inspiring. We’re glad to be giving back and hope the community will get behind us to help raise money for the charity”.
Grayshott Pottery has designed handcrafted ceramic poppies and are donating 200 of them to Grayshott Parish Council to create a display in the Memorial Garden in the village. The Parish Council will be raising money for the Royal British Legion through sponsorship of these poppies.
The team at the Pottery has also made the special edition ceramic garden poppies available to customers who may also want to mark and celebrate the event, with £5 from every sale being donated to the important charity.
Alongside this, Grayshott Pottery’s resident artist Donna Cockram has designed and created a Limited Edition Small Oval Platter “Remembrance”, with £20 from every sale being donated to the charity.
The Commemorative Poppy can be bought online for a price of £22.50 or in store for £18.50. The limited-edition WW1 Centenary Platter can be bought online or in store for £100.
