Laying A Poppy At Ētaples Military Cemetery

On a recent stay in France, Phil Bates a Trustee of Grayshott Pottery visited the Ētaples Military Cemetery to lay one of Grayshott Pottery’s handcrafted ceramic poppies on the grave of his grandfather, Private J H Bates, who fell during WW1 on 15th May 1917.

The ceramic poppies have been designed by the Grayshott Pottery team to commemorate the WW1 centenary. They are available to buy online or in-store, with a £5 donation from every sale being made to the Royal British Legion.
