Giselle began working at the Pottery as a decorator over 30 years ago and has recently returned after raising her family. Giselle thoroughly enjoys experimenting with the dynamic Dartington glazes and takes inspiration for many of her pieces from her memories of holidays by the coastline of Britain and her love of flowers.
This small oval platter features a design unmistakably familiar to those accustomed with Giselle’s work, the intimate cove featured on this platter introduces us to a quiet corner of the Cornish landscape, including rows of neat cottages and a clear, blue sky.
