Our Grayshott Pottery staff recently tested their general knowledge at a charity quiz night held in the Kiln Café at the pottery.
Teams of six took part in the quiz that was organised by Managing Director and quizmaster Glenn Myers, which was accompanied with delicious Mexican food provided by Sue and Karley Semadeni. A raffle also took place throughout the evening to raise funds for Shooting Star Chase, a charity with close connections to Robyn Clarke, our Workshop Manager.
Shooting Star Chase is a local children’s hospice charity caring for young people with life-limiting conditions, offering care and support to the whole family.
“A great big thank you to you all at Grayshott Pottery for the huge generosity in giving your time and money for a brilliant cause”, said Robyn and her husband Paul. “The work that Shooting Star Chase does is amazing in making children, like our son Henry’s lives so much better and more fulfilling, while giving parents the much-needed support.
Thanks to this fun evening and the generosity of our staff, a donation of £500 will be made to the Charity.
